Prasan Ratnayake holds a BSc in Computational Physics from the University of Colombo and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Kelaniya. Passionate about AI and data, he works as a Data Science Engineer at Zone24x7. He is a Microsoft Azure-certified Data Engineer. Alongside his primary role as a Data Science Engineer, Prasan is an avid full-stack developer, skilled in Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI, and proficient in designing user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
Senior Data Science Engineer at Zone24x7
Umair Ramzan, who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kelaniya, is a seasoned professional with more than four years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Science. He currently works as a Senior Data Science Engineer at Zone24x7. He is a Microsoft Azure-certified Data Engineer. In addition to his professional role, Umair serves as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya and has a strong interest and expertise in developing AI-powered software applications.

Ishara Neranjana is a dedicated and motivated Machine Learning Engineer at Zone24x7. He earned a B.Sc (Hons) in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Colombo. Ishara is passionate about Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Generative AI, which are branches of artificial intelligence. He is also a Microsoft-certified Azure data scientist. His commitment to continuous improvement is evident in his work on developing AI solutions that align closely with business needs.
Head of AI and Data Science at Zone24x7
Nisal Mihiranga is a seasoned IT professional, specializing in data science and AI. His passion centers on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and its related disciplines. He has undertaken several enterprise-grade analytic solution implementations across various domains, including logistics, education, and healthcare. Currently, Nisal is the Head of AI and Data Science at Zone24x7, where he helps businesses enhance operational efficiency by designing and implementing AI-driven products and services. Additionally, Nisal is a Microsoft Certified Trainer who delivers various technical training sessions on Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, Nisal actively contributes to the tech community in Sri Lanka, particularly through his involvement in initiating AI Community Sri Lanka (AICSL), which is remarkable. He also makes other community contributions by writing insightful technical articles, speaking at both local and international tech forums and conferences, and has authored a book titled ‘Power BI Data Modeling’.

Chamika Ramanayake is the Head – of AI Platforms at Dialog Axiata PLC with over 7 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, leading a dynamic team across Data, ML, AIOps, and Cloud domains to design and set the foundation to operationalize the end-to-end AI/ML system life-cycle in AWS cloud environment, and democratizing ML/Analytics through no-code platforms. Chamika pioneered the MLOps team and AI Factory, serving as an AI Platform Architect. He holds an MBA from PIM, University of Sri Jayawardenepura, and a B.Sc. Eng (Hons) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. Chamika is passionate about applying AI and machine learning to solve real-world problems and create value for customers and businesses.

Praveen Dhananjaya is a Computer Engineering undergraduate from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I have a keen interest in hardware development and system integration.
