iCIIT Conclave 2026

from Vibe Coding to Agentic Engineering: Establishing Rigour in AI-Native Workflows

As software development increasingly integrates generative AI tools, developers are rapidly moving toward new modes of building software where AI plays an active role in producing and orchestrating code.

While this has enabled rapid experimentation, often referred to as vibe coding, it also raises important questions about reliability, evaluation, and engineering rigour in AI-driven systems.

The iCIIT Conclave 2026, organized by the Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), invites academics, industry professionals, and researchers to submit short synopses exploring the transition from experimental AI-assisted development to structured Agentic Engineering practices.

The conclave aims to explore emerging methodologies, workflows, and governance models that enable reliable and maintainable AI-native software systems.
